The return period for servers is 30 days.
Unless you have a special agreement with DataCAM, servers and all accessories, peripherals, parts and software that are in their original packaging can be returned to DataCAM within 30 days of the date of receipt to obtain the reimbursement of their purchase price or a credit note.
Unless the product is defective or returned as a result of a direct DataCAM error, the refund or credit note does not include shipping or handling charges; you are responsible for these and any damages incurred during the return shipment.
THE REFUND OR CREDIT NOTE IS ALSO SUBJECT TO A RETURN RESTOCKING FEE OF 30% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID (EXTRA APPLICABLE SALES TAXES).
If you purchased the products under a written contract with DataCAM, the contract may contain product return terms that differ from those set out in this policy.
Before returning a product, you must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA) before the end of the return period. To obtain the Return
Authorization Number, you must contact us at 1-888-990-9961. DataCAM will not accept any returns without an authorization number.
Any product returned to DataCAM without a DataCAM Return Authorization Number will be considered an unauthorized return; the customer will not receive any refund or credit note for the product and DataCAM will not return the product to the customer.
Within five days of the date of issue of the Return Authorization Number by DataCAM, the product must be shipped to DataCAM using the following guidelines:
Ship all products for which you have received a return authorization number. For partial returns, your refund may be less than the invoice or individual part price due to bundled or promotional pricing or any unadvertised discounts.
Return products in their original packaging, in like-new condition, with all documentation and manuals, CDs, power cords, and other items included at the time of initial shipment.
DataCAM is not responsible for any confidential, proprietary or personal information, loss or alteration of data, or lost or damaged removable media included in your return.
Upon receipt of your authorized and compliant return, DataCAM will issue a credit or refund corresponding to the purchase price paid.
DataCAM will issue your refund within 10 business days of receiving your returned and verified package. Your refund will be made according to the payment method used at the time of purchase. The repayment time thereafter depends on your credit card company and their time of approval for the refund.
